Constructed from solid 9ct rosey gold rolled (375 parts per 1000) see below.
Fully assay marked / tested via x-ray extrapolation.
Classic plain band.
Dates to late 19th Century (c1900)

Lovely condition for age, fully wearable, can be professionally polished for a small additional fee.

ROLLED GOLD: Over the decades I have bathed many many kilos of old gold items in acid to purify the gold content back to 24ct.  The older methods did not use thin plates of gold like today's plating but used solid gold in the construction.
Rolled Gold is a technique where solid plates of gold are mechanically fused onto a base metal.  Very high quality and will not wear if looked after.
Over many years my average yield of gold from rolled gold items is 4.2%
For a 9ct item such as this that equates to the outer 11.2% being made of gold.
