Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster Style B for the 1957 David Miller Drama THE STORY OF ESTHER COSTELLO, based on the novel by Nicholas Monsarrat and starring Joan Crawford, Rossano Brazzi, Heather Sears, John Loder, Lee Patterson, Ron Randell, Fay Compton, Sidney James, Bessie Love, Robert Ayres and Denis O’Dea.

Eighteen-year-old Esther has been deaf and blind since the accident which killed her mother. Wealthy Margaret Landi, a native of Esther’s village in Ireland, is talked into helping to educate and possibly heal Esther. Margaret grows to love Esther as a daughter, but finds Esther’s innocence threatened by sleazy promoters and her own sleazy ex-husband.

The poster is in very good folded condition with corner and edge pinholes and 2 small holes in the second ‘O’ of Rossano and the first ‘L’ of Costello.
