Original British 20 inch x 30 inch Double Crown Poster from The Other Cinema for the 1975 Jean-Louis Comolli Drama LA CECILIA, based on the story of the colony set up in Brazil in 1890 by a group of Italian anarchists and starring Maria Carta, Massimo Foschi, Vittorio Mezzogiorno, Mario Bussolino and Bruno Cattaneo.

Poster art by Oscar Zárate (born 1942). Zárate is an Argentine comic book artist and illustrator. Zarate studied architecture and had a successful career in advertising in Argentina. He moved to Europe in 1971 and began to work in earnest as an illustrator. He has produced several posters for the independent film company The Other Cinema.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a nick in the top edge.
