FLN2912AR Hard-Install Car Kit

The FLN2912AR kit includes:

• Cradle (FLN281OA)
• External 4-watt Speaker (FSN5526A)
• Power Cable (No P/N)
• Junction Box (FLN2799A)
• Adjustable Angle Mounting Bracket (TRN5502A)
• Visor Microphone (FMN1611C)
• A bag with 8 screws and 2 wire connectors
• A bag with 4 screws

NOTES:

The FLN2912AR Hard-Install Car Kit enables in-vehicle communications by providing extended RF coverage, the ability to connect to 12-Vdc or 24-Vdc power sources, data interface, and the ability to rapid- charge the battery. Please note that the customer should purchase an external antenna.

When the phone is turned off, the Hard-install Car Kit charges the Standard battery in 75 minutes to 90% capacity. Charging time will be longer if the phone is operational during charge time.

The Cradle P/N FLN281OA:
The Cradle measures approximately 9” (22.5 cm) tall X 3” (7.5 cm) wide X 2-1/2” (6 cm) deep.
The antenna lead is approximately 2 inches (5 cm) long
The data cable is approximately 5 feet (1.5 Meters) long and is terminated in a 15 pin male subminiature D Connector.
External 4-watt Speaker P/N FSN5526A:
The speaker measures approximately 4-1/2” (11 cm) wide X 2-1/2” (6.5 cm) high X 2” (5.4 cm) deep.
The speaker cable measures approximately 6-1/2 feet (2 Meters) long,

Power Cable:
The power cable has no part number and is in a sealed bag so I cannot measure it’s length. My best guess is that it is about 7-1/2 feet (2.25 m) long and has a 3 amp, blade style, inline fuse.

Junction Box P/N FLN2799A:
The Junction box measures approximately 5-1/2” (13.8 cm) wide X 4” (10.3 cm) deep X 1-1/8” (2.8 cm) tall. It has 7 jacks on the back for Push to Talk, Speaker, Microphone, an RJ45 (I don’t know what the RJ45 is for), Cradle, and data (9 pin sub D).

The Adjustable Angle Mounting Bracket P/N TRN5502A:
The Bracket measures approximately 2-1/2” (6.5 cm) tall X 2-3/4” (7 cm) wide X 1” (2.7 cm) deep.

Visor Microphone P/N FMN1611C:
The Visor Microphone measures approximately 1½” Square X ¾” deep (4 cm Square X 2 cm deep). It’s cable is about 10’ 10” (3.3 meters) long.
The microphone comes with a metal clip (attaches with Velcro) to attach to the sun visor

Misc. Hardware
A bag with 8 screws and 2 wire connectors.
A bag with 4 screws.

The box the kit comes in measures approximately 11” X 7-1/4” X 4-3/8 (28 X 18.2 X 11 cm) and weighs 3 lb 1.7 oz (1.41kg)
