Seller's Description

Eugene Ormandy conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra with 5 different guest artists - RCA VICTOR SP 33-555 - “The Philadelphia Orchestra (Bonus Record)”. The record is in excellent condition. The jacket is in excellent condition as well except for a bit of wear. A 1969 limited edition LP that on side 1 has an interview with Ormandy along with two recordings of Tchaikovsky's “Pathétique”. The first recorded in 1936 at his RCA debut and the other upon his return to RCA in 1968. Side 2 has 5 featured guests each on one selection. The guests include: Fritz Kreisler, violin / Marian Anderson, contralto / Lauritz Melchior, tenor / Emmanuel Feuermann, cello / Kirsten Flagstad, soprano.
