Actully I like the old red one, and maybe put the .net in black on the red part, make the hammer black, and white background behind it. Think it would be more eye catching.

From Todays eBid Newsletter...
We can report the building of the new site is in it's final stages, testing has been ongoing for over two weeks now. You will notice a lot of difference with the new look but functionality shouldn't be too different, just improved in most places. We have a date we are working to but won't make it public until we are 100% definite.
With the new LOGO does that mean that my T-shirts and hat are going to be collectors items soon?

Now that's more like it!
I will be intrigued to see what shades of green and purple the guys finally show us in their new logo, but with such colours I think there is a very narrow band of correctness, as these are very close to zombie colours! The site could end up looking like a Michael Jackson video.
I think it has to be traffic-light green and a deep jewel purple, amethyst or similar. Adding a gloss effect (like everyone seems to be doing since Apple started the craze) would also make it feel contemporary.

Tell you what though, British Racing Green might also work!
But this goes with yellow, not purple.
