Love raw celery hearts with salt on
I love celery, and it's so versatile. Raw with salt, in Waldorf salad, in seafood salad. Pot roast, stew, soups and poultry dressing just wouldn't taste right without it.
Back in the days when I was trying to be a good cook, I used to sauté a mixture of chopped onion, chopped celery, and chopped carrots, a "good for seasoning everything" concoction.
I love chili in the winter months and I always add a 1/2 cup of thinly sliced celery and the flavor is just satisfying!
Gosh you give me an appetite!
Love celery and love things picked in the countryside, way better and a lot less poisonous than some of the stuff you buy in the supermarket...
