Thread: Ninja suggestion

  1. #1

    Default Ninja suggestion

Most useful addition to Ninja as far as I am concerned would be.......

A ''next'' button the listing edit page.

Finish editing one listing, and instead of saving and closing that one, clicking on a ''next'' button would automatically save the changes done, and move to the next listing.

Definitely. I vaguely remember saying so when it was first launched, but also assumed that the lack of prev/next was because it was only a test version then. It really ought to have it by now. Come on boys!

I totally agree; I had to revise more the 200 items and it was a huge mission because there was no next button ... It made me not want to use NL which in turn no want to make auctions.

The next button would save the current one and open the next within the same set in edit mode?

    Sounds feasible.
Don't forget there's a Copy To All function that lets you copy a field from one row to all others in the same set..

And very useful it is too. But sometimes you want to do similar but not identical steps to a number of listings, such as bringing in new photos or changing a bunch of duplicated listings to make each slightly different to reflect a range of stock.

Just out of interest - any idea of an estimated eta for that?
I have around 1,200 items in it at the moment to be edited - wouldnt want to start them tomorrow, and find out it could be added next week or similar.

Just an approximation will suffice - a few days either side?

You do realise that any approximation would be expressed in EET (eBid elastic time), don't you?

Uh huh - but i can live with that - I got heaps of other stuff to do - so I can put the editing on the back-burner for a while if this is liable to be ''imminent'', ''fairly soon'', ''soon'', or even ''by the end of the month''
