I've always used IE. Right now using IE8. Hubby switched to Google Chrome and really likes it. I might have to give it a go myself. :-)

I switched over to Chrome this week as the latest Firefox was giving me problems and slowing the PC right down. However I understand there is soon to be a new release which hopefully will cure the problems. If it does I will probably switch back.

I find Chrome much quicker. HOWEVER, it is forever crashing or disconnecting from the internet.
A bit of a pain.
I know IE is a bit antiquated, but it suits me

I feel the same about chrome , have thought about changing but some of my friends say it it alwas dropping out or something goes daft....I would like to try it but feel safer with what I have............for now..............papa.
between trying different ant-virus and firefox, google chrome etc Im still not sure what to have. I might give google chrome another go, Its knowing whats compatiblw with everything too, I just have windows vista basic which is a bit of a pain to say the least, Cant wait to get THAT upgraded I think that will help quite a number of problems. But until then, even though its all so time consuming, will keep testing the waters till the computer runs more smoothly and is a bit happier.
I upgraded to the latest Firefox Browser and had to rollback to the previous one! My PC was switching itself on and off and to Standby. I also couldn't access some websites that I'd had no probs with previously. PC was also "freezing" and slowing right down.
Might give Chrome a shot myself. I've already tried Opera and quite like that - got it on my Desktop just in case. I find IE8 dead slow these days though.
