Finally...got back home this afternoon...just spent 3 weeks without any access to the forum unless I was on my Android.

I was using NHS wi-fi and for some reason best known to themselves they blocked the main eBid site as well as this forum.

Managed to take part in the YDC in a very small way as It was sooooo difficult to do anything much as I couldn't work out how to use my Android to do much on ANY site...not just this one.

Anyway...back from Fairy Land....back with my Billy too....lol

Glad to hear you are back in the real world again. As for the NHS blocking systems they are truly bizarre, I work for the NHS and during lunch breaks we are allowed to browse tinternet. However since a crackdown it is no longer worth bothering. We are allowed to access the BBC (where they will happily sell you videos and the like), but we are not allowed the ITV site because that is deemed as "entertainment despite the fact that BBC has iplayer.

As you found we can access the other auction site (which has weak security) but are not allowed here as this is deemed as dodgy although it has better security features.


In my work we have to book venues for meetings and interviews, but are blocked from accessing many of the websites (football, rugby and cricket stadia); the only way we can access them is to go to the IT dept and ask them to look up the details for us. Then the bosses express surprise when told that we do not feel trusted to do our jobs.

Yay!...Thanks guys .....Yeah....it IS good to be home.

Billy has been living on cheese and tomato sandwiches since I got back home as he is not at all happy with me cooking until I am a lot steadier on my feet.



I am still trying to find my way back into the real world without overdoing it....well meaning relatives have been tidying up and organising things so well I have to keep looking for things....doesn't half slow me down.

I have got right ratty a few times .....really don't like people messing with my stuff and have been reminding myself that it's unlikely any of this will bother me some other time
