Think we pretty much got away with it here in Grantham (touch wood). Very little snow compared with other places around the country.
More snow here and all access roads around us [apart from the main road to Welshpool and Shrewsbury which is only passable with care] closed due to snow drifts.
The railway line just west of here.

IF YOU DONT LIKE IT BLAME YOURSELF.
A bit of a blizzard happening right now. I wouldn't want to be out in it.

Today was an evening before into this morning snowstorm in Buffalo, NY, Schools and many businesses closed. It all began to melt due to the unseasonable warm weather last week and ground warmth melting the snow today.
There are many Buffalo slogans, but one always stands out: "If you don't like the weather in Buffalo, NY, wait a minute."
It's just grey and very cold here in Chilly Cheshire,
So cold that my recycle bin lid was frozen shut!
I believe we are set for floods next,
Luckily I live on a gentle hillside well above the the lowest ground, so if the floods come they would need to be very, very, deep
Stay safe and warm folks
