Hi
I use the offline 'MS Excel' program to prepare items for Ebid auction. There is not a column for postage so I include in description. I do over time manage to change each one but it is very time consuming. Please always read description before deciding not to bid.
We'll be adding
postage costs
postage terms
auto repost
Give us a few days and we should have it.

I list postage with everything so you can imagine how busy I was when charges went up!
Word is they will go up again this Autumn.
Surely they can't put postage up again!!
Have to adnit comments like that made me glad I got approved by the escape committee to get out of the UK - now four years liiving in Thailand and there was hell here last year when local letter rate went up from 2 baht to 3 baht (approx from 3.5p to 5p) - it was the first increase in 10 years and some people thought the post office staff were "trying it on".Originally Posted by efield1999

I always list postage in the postage box, and repeat it prominently in the description, but sales are still very slow - must be holiday season back there? Biggest gripe is people not completing feedback - leaves it looking like ou either don't sell or can't be trusted. BIG GRRRRRRRR
Hey Mark & namesake of me - what about somesort of timeout warning linked to the end date of an auction - e.g. buyer and seller both get 21 days to complete from auction close then get an email reminder?
Any chance it could get coded into the database?

I'm put off from bidding when there's no postage amount listed. Another thing I find annoying is reserves on auctions, especially when they start at £1 and the reserve is something stupidly high. I would rather see how much I would have to pay.
For example there were several auctions for watches on the front page where the starting price was £1 and the buy now price (and presumably the reserve too) was £50! Why not just set the starting price higher?
