The fact your id is revealed at the end is not my idea of fun anyway.

Why? Are you afraid of people knowing it then?
Why not take a quick look at my Stores?

Just wondering, will we be given the Username of the person picked for us? It would be helpful to try to find something out about them before buying their gift.

When do we have to send these out?

I kindve agree. I appreciate the SS has been reduced now, but some of us are still financially unviable. My sisters and I agreed that we wouldnt buy for each other at Christmas for that very same reason.

Kimbo, I see what youre saying, but part of the idea of SS is the whole silliness of it all. To see what is the biggest load of useless tut you can find for your money and then the receiver bragging about it!! The thank yous can be sent out as a general thing, everyones in the same boat and noone gets embarrassed by how little or how much they spent because it all remains a secret.

If you wanted to buy a personal present and thank the giver, then why not just do it anyway, without the Secret Santa?

<--- wondering how many participants "sign" their Valentines Day cards!

Why are you suggesting *I* do something else? I'm the one saying I like SS the way it will be run and wish to take part exactly as it is. I'm not the one objecting to anything. I think you've got the wrong end of the stick.

I didnt mean you personally. I was saying that *I* wont be joining in the present giving ( Its not that I dont want to join in... )for the reasons Ive stated, although would love to know how it turns out. Im sorry if you felt I was having a personal dig

With the credit crunch, recession and global meltdown would it not be advisable for the minimum spend be £5?
