Thread: First Charity Auction

  1. #1

    Default First Charity Auction

    Hi All,
I have just started a new Charity Auction - my first.
I read all about the YDC auctions in the forum threads and thought it all seemed so complicated to me. So I listed in the normal way under Auctions for Charity.
I added a post to Plug Your Auctions forum http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=115987
where there's a link to the auction itself.

If anyone would care to take a look, I would welcome your comments and criticisms, and perhaps your opinions too as to the difference between a normal listing and a YDC listing . Is there any added advantage in using the YDC method? Love to hear.

    John.

We all get involved in YDC auctions and they are all in one place.

The bids come thick and fast in YDC and there are a lot of underhand tactics go on especially if there is choklit involved. The people who do such wicked things know who they are.

The YDC is FUN and raises a lot of money for worthwhile charities.
Please join in , you will enjoy it and if I can do it it cannot be complicated.

I like having the charity auctions in one place.

YDC weekends are great fun - I see it as a way of getting to know the other sellers while raising money.

I've also been able to spot potential gifts through YDC which I probably would have missed otherwise.
