Just might also want to consider that some people have computer crashes or emergencies etc. I think that 48 hours would be better with a second email sent (with original question) and then at 72 hours maybe go about canceling listings.
Yep.
Also, I use the computer only one session a day and I'm often away from it for twenty-four hours at a time. Occasionally, I can't get to it for about forty hours!
Not answering a question immediately does not make someone dishonourable.
Please change it, G & M!
( All Q&A reponses must be made within 24 hours of the original question. Unanswered questions will deem the seller and thus the auction to be inactive. )
This is a bit harsh. As a mom-pop seller, we can't be on online every day, 365 days. Sometimes we take time off - like Sunday , and back online on Monday. What about public or religious holidays in other countries like Singapore or India.
I bet ya that even the employees of eBid is not online everyday (within 24 hours) when the employee is not at work.
I believe all sellers in good standing will answer ASAP, but to cancel all auctions for not answering questions within 24 hours is tough on the sellers. Put yourself in our shoes.

The improved visibility has been requested many times, it used to stand out quite well, but unfortunately that was lost in one of the up-grades. However there is an up-grade due some time soon which will include various improvements, we will just have to hope that this is one of them.

How about three days instead?
Some legitimate would-be sellers might be put off by a one-day rule.
