Had the fright of my life last night.
12.05 I was sat at the pc in the corner of my living room minding my own business when there was this almighty bang.
On our doorstep we had a heavy earthenware dish for the cat. Some **** (insert words of choice here) had picked up the dish and decided to throw it through our living room window The window which was a matter of inches from my head. Luckily the curtains were shut so it held the dish back a bit otherwise if it had hit me it could have caused serious harm, maybe even killed me. They must have thrown it with quite a bit of force for it to go straight through both panels of double glazing.
Got to wait for forensics to turn up today to see if they can get finger prints from the dish, though I don't hold up any hope of them catching anyone.
What the hell makes people do this? We haven't upset anyone so it seems just a random pointless act. It's not even as if the dish was in their way, they had to go on the step to actually get the dish
Was really surprised at the council though, police got in touch with them and they were here within 30 mins with some sticky back plastic lol to seal the window, got to wait god knows how long now though for it to be reglazed.
