Anybody in the UK want a free copy of The White Lioness, by Henning Mankell? It was given to me as a freebie under the "Book Crossing" rules, and I've promised to hand it on the same way... but I'd rather pay only UK postage, so I'm being parochial with my offer.

Legend by David Gemmell is finished. A ripping good yarn.

Now onto "Elizabeth" by David Starkey, back to a history book.

In the middle of "The Hollow Hills" by Mary Stewart, bk. 2 of her Merlin & King Arthur trilogy. It's absolutely rivetting, as was the 1st book, "The Crystal Cave".

    And bought off eBid

Got two on the go at the moment. Keeping Their Place, bought on here of course! Very interesting and a good dip in and dip out type of book. But I have to have some fiction on the go too, so The Ghost by Robert Harris is being read in the gaps.

It's fascinating, thanks. Not least to see the progression of spelling and grammar!
