Seller's Description

snw0510   This is an extremely rare (but sadly torn and incomplete) letter from Douglas Kennedy who was the founder of the English Folk Dance Society-  The letter is dated 1934 and whilst the lower left corner missing (so only 75% complete) the hand signature is fully complete which is what you are purchasing - Douglas Kennedy was the founding member of the English Folk Dance Society around 90 years ago and it is very rare to find anything linked with this historic Director - you will see from the 1934 headed paper shows him as the Managing Director -  please allow for condition but this is historic ephemera where the headed paper also shows the other key member of artist control and I believe his partner of the era is stated as Vaughan Williams alongside Douglas Kennedys name in the top left (see image)
