Original German 23 inch x 33 inch Double Sided Poster for the the 1962 François Truffaut Romance JULES AND JIM, based on the novel by Henri-Pierre Roché and starring Jeanne Moreau, Oskar Werner, Henri Serre, Marie Dubois, Vanna Urbino, Boris Bassiak and Anny Nelsen.
Jules and Jim charts, over twenty-five years, the relationship between two friends and the object of their mutual obsession.
Poster art by Ferry Ahrle (1924 - 2018). German painter, graphic artist and author. AND
Bele Bachem (1916 - 2005). A German graphic artist, book illustrator, stage designer and writer. In 1997, Bachem was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a different image on either side.
