• General Comments: This is primarily a brief introduction to Houston, mentioning a few tourist sites such as the Johnson Space Flight Center. Most of the pictures are adverts from some rather specialist shops or restaurants. The maps are supplied by Guest Informant. Map 2 is of the Metropolitan Area; Map 3 is of South West Houston. Map 1 is of Shepherd / The Village. This is not a leaflet you can easily put in your pocket and carry around – it is too big, instead it was possibly designed to be put into a folder, or carried around on a car seat as you drove around the city. The leaflet might be of interest to anyone wanting to study what businesses/tourism were around in 1997. Did you, or your shop, feature in this booklet in that year?
