Postally used on 6 September 1905 with double circle Newcastle under Lyme cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Mrs S Loundes, Newcastle, Staffordshire.
Poor condition, with some corner bumps, but some surface loss to left centre of top edge, large crease to bottom left corner and small crease to bottom right corner.
