It turns into a really butt ugly color, but when you heat it up a tad, the ugly goes away and you're left with the color of the sky, straight up at high noon. Just the most awesome blue you ever saw. I'm just totally in love with them. It'd better be a good, clean, solid, deep sky blue, or I won't carry 'em. Fantastic color, incredible cut, perfect clarity -- all combining to create a totally awesome stone. This is good, solid, everyday ring -- the mounting has a strong structure and is well built. The nicest thing about this particular mounting is it's low domed effect. It's a ring you can wear all the time -- stick your hands in your jeans pockets and not get hungup, etc. Just plain comfortable.. ______________________________________________________________________ BTW, Since we make this from scratch after you order it, we have a lot of flexibility.
