PFAS24  Antique 5" x 2" autograph from 1953 and from a former collectors autograph book containing a stunning character hand signed page for Hertha Topper famous Austrian Contralto and voice coach who has dated her signing 1957 to accompany her photo undedicated and bar lightly aged this is mint condition. On reverse has an personal autograph of Aase Lovberg (see image 2).

Aase Nordmo Løvberg was a Norwegian opera soprano. Dagbladet called her "one of Norway's greatest opera singers." For many years she sang with Jussi Björling at the Royal Opera in Stockholm, and she also sang under renowned conductors such as Herbert von Karajan and Georg Solti.

Hertha Töpper was an Austrian contralto in opera and concert, and an academic voice teacher. A member of the Bavarian State Opera, she appeared in leading roles at major international opera houses and festivals. Hertha Töpper made her operatic debut in 1945 as Ulrike at the Graz Landestheater, where she sang until 1952. In 1951 she appeared at the Bayreuth Festival. After signing as a guest artist at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich in 1951-1952, she joined its roster. She was made a Bavarian Kammersängerin in 1955. In 1953 she made her first appearance at Londons Covent Garden as Clarion with the visiting Bavarian State Opera, and later returned for gust appearances. She made her USA debut at the San Francisco Opera in 1960 as Octavian, a role she repeated for her Metropolitan Opera debut in New York in November 1962. From 1971 to 1981 she was a professor at the Munich Hochschule für Musik.
