Seller's Description

CHAU0415  A superb opportunity to secure this stunning large 7" x 5" hand signed photo for former London horse racing trainer Paul Kelleway who has personally autographed the photo where his signature rests perfectly accompanying his portrait in absolute mint condition and the signing undedicated too.  You won't source better.

"....The highlights of his riding career came with the dual champion hurdler Bula, who won at Cheltenham in 1971 and 1972, and the Gold Cup triumph of What A Myth in 1969.  As a trainer, from a small stable, he proved himself a shrewd buyer of cheap yearlings, who belied their purchase prices to give him seven Group 1 victories.  Swiss Maid, who gave him his first major success in the 1978 Champion Stakes, was bought for pounds 6,000 and sold for pounds 325,000. His French Oaks winner Madam Gay cost 9,000gns but was sold for pounds 1.4 million...".
