Some Information About mprcgb

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
mprcgb is the online sales arm of  mprc Web Services. We are based in the East of England and have been trading online since 2003.

Since November 2005 we have been running an eBay Shop with a 163+ve Feedback. Now, we have transferred to eBid and will be offering the same great deals in our eBid Stores.

From time to time, we will also be selling off second hand/ used items that are surplus to our requirements. These items will have been bought by us and used in the course of our web management business. Generally the items will have been kept in good condition and will show few signs of wear & tear. We will describe such items carefully and offer them by auction in order to achieve a reasonable price. We do not sell second hand or used items for anyone other than ourselves.

We generally use Royal Mail 1st Class for packages under 2kg. Most items (usually but not limited to a value of £10 or more) and sent Recorded and will require a signature on delivery. Some  items will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and will always requie a signaure upon receipt.

Items over 2kg will generally be sent by Parcel Force or other courier. High value items will be sent Recorded and will have to be signed for. All courier deliveries will require a signature upon receipt.

Where the buyer is not at home at the point of delivery and a signature is required, then the delivery agent will leave a card with instructions as to how the item(s) can be re-delivered.

Items returned to us as undelivered will be subject to a Handling Charge of 10% of the item's value, plus the cost of re-despatch.

 

Your attention is drawn to our Conditions of Sale as listed below. mprc reserves the right to amend, introduce or withdraw any or all of the Conditions of Sale at any time. None of the Conditions of Sale shall be used to gain any unfair advantage over either buyer or seller.

Conditions of Sale:

 

1. All goods are sold as new unless otherwise stated and are warranted as fit for purpose.

1a. All product descriptions are taken from those supplied by manufacturers or their wholesale agents and are given in good faith by mprc Web Services.

1b. All items offered for sale are warranted to be in stock or available for despatch within 3 business days. However, mprc Web Services cannot accept any responsibility for the unannounced withdrawal of products from ranges previously offered by manufacturers or their agents.

1c. In the event of a product becoming unavailable for more than 3 business days, due either to stock shortages or discontinuation, mprc Web Services will notify the buyer and offer either a suitable alternative or a full refund.

1d. A buyer may elect at any time, to wait for and Out-of-Stock item to become available once more, by e-mailing mprc Web Services to this effect and can subsequently request a refund if the delay in supplying an item that has been purchased goes beyond 5 business days after notification of the buyer's intention to wait.

1e. At mprc Web Services' discretion, if any delay is likely to last beyond 10 business days from the date of sale, a full refund will be offered to the buyer.

1f. In the event of an item lost in transit, a claim will be processed on the carrier. Buyers should allow a minimum of 15 working days before entering a claim for non-receipt. (Royal Mail are quite particular in this respect.)

2.Faulty goods may be returned for a refund or replacement within 7 days of receipt. The buyer is responsible for any return postage & packaging.

2a. Where faulty goods have been identified and accepted as such by mprc Web Services, a full refund (including original postage) will be given by mprc Web Services. In the event of a replacement item being sent in respect of faulty goods having been so identified by mprc Web Services, the subsequent postage & packaging charge will be covered by mprc Web Services.

Second hand/Used goods are sold as described in good working order (unless described otherwise) and are not coveredf by manufacturers guarantees unless there are transferrable rights under the original warranty issued by the manufacturer.

3. All new items sold are subject to a manufacturers warranty after the initial 7 days and is normally 12 months from the date of sale.Second hand/ used items are sold as described and are not normally covered by any warranties (unless they have transferrable warranty rights).

3a. Where warranty periods differ from the norm, this will be stated in the product description.

4. Title to all goods sold remains with mprc Web Services until payment has cleared. Buyers should allow a minimum of 5 working days for Cheques to clear.

5. Payment methods accepted are, PayPal or Google Checkout (preferred), Cheques (drawn in GBP and on a UK Bank). Cheques should be crossed and made payable to M.P.R.C. 5a. Bank Transfer/BACS accepted, UK Postal Orders are also acceptable - please cross and make payable to M.P.R.C.

5b. Crossed Postal Orders and Bank Transfers will be treated in the same way a Cheque payments.

6. No items can be accepted for return unless a Return Authority Number (RAN) has been issued.Second hand/ Used goods are not eligible for return. Items received damaged or lost in transit will be covered by Royal Mail compensation schemes. (Please allow a minimum of 15 days for Royal Mail to action any claim.

7. All returns must include original packaging and be complete in every way, i.e. any extras or accessories supplied with the original item must be returned with the item. Failure to return items in complete and unused condition will lead to delays in processing any claim.

8. Items that have been damaged, other than in transit (and identified as such at the point of receipt), or mishandled, will be excluded from any claim. Buyers are urged to retain all packaging and accessories until they are satisfied that the item purchased is operating to specification.

9. mprc Web Services complies with the Distance Selling Regulations insofar as they cover online Auction Sales. Items sold as used are not covered by these regulations but our intent is to treat fairly in all cases.

10. UK consumers Statutory Rights are unaffected by any of the foregoing Conditions of Sale.

11. In all dealings with buyers, mprc Web Services represents its' agents on the basis of being the primary seller of goods & services offered by mprcgb and any of its online sales activities.

12. In the event of any dispute leading to legal action by either buyer or seller (including all and any subsidiary activities owned or operated by mprc Web Services, the laws of England shall apply.
