Question From stephenrussell12 [+23] Wed 21 Aug 2024 08:46:56 (GMT) Good morning.
Can you just clarify if the postage has gone up as you charged me £8 for just under £50 worth of badges rather than the £3:80 quoted.
Also how much would the special delivery postage cost please for up to £499.
PS thank you for the 10 you've just sent me.

Answer From angellottie [+13925] Wed 21 Aug 2024 11:02:06 (GMT) Hi, thanks for your email, hope that I can help.
I charged for special delivery (next day) because of
the insurance level. Royal Mail would have paid out
to replace the badges and it would have cost more
than £50.
Signed for Mail would have covered you up to £50
but they would not have paid the claim because I
had underinsured the package.
I have had this before with them. Also Signed For
Mail gets lost / stolen a lot because it is only tracked
at the point of sending and delivery. Special Delivery
is tracked at lots of points and rarely gets lost /
stolen.
Kind regards Denise.
