Dan Dower and Diane Hall are the creative force behind the leading jewellery brand Dower & Hall. Partners both in marriage and business, the pair met at university, whilst studying jewellery design. With the aid of a Prince’s Trust business loan, the couple set up Dower & Hall selling their contemporary designs to specialist retailers. It was an instant hit and the brand has grown steadily over the past 20 years. Dan focuses his time on design, working on new collections hands-on, carving or hammering directly into metal; while Diane, a savvy business woman oversees the day to day running of the whole business. With a young son to look after and family life greatly important, the couple still make sure they find time to combine their creative skills, often with Diane selecting pearls or gemstones and using her commercial talent to edit collections. Dan and Diane are tremendously proud to be at the helm of such a successful British company and look forward to the next 20 years.
