Examines the branch line from Harrow and Wealdstone to Stanmore Village via Belmont station.
Some fantastic pictures of the quaint country station, platform, the route, tickets, the station buildings, the goods yard and the trackbed route. Some technical data, lots of minutia (Programme of music for the opening day banquet and gala!), Signalling methods,Train timetables,locomotives and rolling stock,detailed plans of the station and goods yard over the years.
Some great photos during and after line closure.
The book itself is in excellent condition + still perfectly readable,but it has been read.
72 b+w pages with a red and white glossy cover.
The DVD is a disc of fantastic images of the stations and also some excellent old footage
of the service in action! A wonderful accompaniment to the book.
All pages are present, none missing, no tears, no writing anywhere.
