Original 1958 Russian 19 inch x 25 1/4 inch Poster for the 1957 Mariya Fyodorova Russian Drama A GIFT FOR MUSIC (PRIZVANIYE) starring Grigori Belov, Andrei Demyanov, Leonid Gallis, Marina Kuznetsova and Misha Tyagunov.
The eager-faced hero, Andryusha Demyanov, is a war orphan befriended by a conductor and a professor, who becomes the pride and joy of the school in the climactic recital. The fly in the ointment is a jealous, rival pianist, a chubby lad (Misha Tyagunov), who struts and sulks through the picture like a baby Mussolini, all but stealing it.
