a very scarce bimetal Sherwood Foresters enlisted pattern cap badge. only worn for a relatively short time in 1902 before the renaming to form the Notts and Derby Regiment. The Notts and Derby title was not used until early 1903. Voided type. approx. 1.85" by 1.7". two lug type fittings on the reverse.
