Can you tell me the model number ? I'm umming and aahing whether to buy a C64 breadbin with bits (PSU, Datasette, etc, so I can be up and running on my CRT TVs), from fleabay or whether to buy one from you or to get the monitor first and build up the cash for the rest later. Thanks Shell

Question From cliche [+1]
Thu 29 Dec 2022 06:36:47 (BST)
**Please ignore my last question** I've got a choice between your 1084s or a 1084st. What's getting me is that some 1084S models didn't have RGB digital (required for c128 80 column mode, which I may think about in the future) Can you tell me if the sticker on the back shows 1084S-D1 or 1084S-D2 ? Sorry to be a nerd about this. Thanks Shell

Monitor 107 is a 1084s ( stereo) D2 (newer version) with updated transformer the D means its the updated Daewoo CRT Trying to find how to include a picture ?
Question From cliche [+1]

Hi there. According to various sites the Commodore 1084S-D1 had: analog RGB  └composite sync  digital RGBi  PAL separate  PAL composite But the Commodore 1084S-D2 had:  analog RGB  └composite sync  PAL separate  PAL composite ... ... (in German above) - also other sites say the same. This link says the problems it will have trying to use the C128 needs RGBI to use the 80 column mode ... (which is making me reconsider not trying to reach for the C128. and save for a future A500 purchase) Sorry, for all this bumf, but I had fallen in love with your C128's and had thought that I'd get a compatible monitor after seeing a C64 beautifully displayed in 1987. I'm collecting arcade machines at the moment (just bought a sit-down driver), and have some rubber-keyed speccy stuff, but always loved the C64 back in the day. I also drooled over the Amiga A500. In light of what I have read I may stick to a Breadbin and monitor, BUT I may have completely misunderstood their information (so forgive me). Can you give me a price then for the following combos ?:- 1) The monitor by itself ? 2) A C64 Breadbin and monitor only? 3) A C128 (god, they are so tempting) and monitor only ? 4) Do you have anyworking A500s? If so, a price of one and the monitor only ? I've still got other JAMMA cabinets to collect, besides the sit-down (Glasgow and Carlisle) and just by chance I saw your C128 listing, so those are my priority at the moment (as paid for), but I maybe able to stretch/persuade my other half on one of the above points. I'll be collecting any items myself as I don't trust any shippers (got a specialist arcade guy for my cabinets, but collecting the Carlisle one myself as I'm visiting the area). Also, you seem like a genuine CBM fan, so be good to support you. Again, sorry for all this writing and will await to hear your prices for options 1),2),3) (and 4 if you have any working A500s) Thanks Shell

Can you give me a price then for the following combos ?:- 1) The monitor by itself ? £120 2) A C64 Breadbin and monitor only? £200 3) A C128 (god, they are so tempting) and monitor only £300 4) Do you have anyworking A500s? All sold NONE LEFT AT MOMENT I also have a 1085s-D2 the D2 designation indicates that a different flyback transformer was used in the high voltage section. D is the model number perhaps because its the 4th generation 1084 monitor monitors that had a 'P' - had 'Philipps' CRTs monitors that had a 'D' - had 'Daewoo' CRTs! the daewoo ones are always newer the '2' is the seccond revision of those with Daewoo CRTS
Question From cliche [+1]
Sat 31 Dec 2022 18:10:13 (BST)
I can't seem to find the picture of the back of the monitor ? Does the pic get removed ? Am I able to give you my email or contact details or do those messages get blocked ? I saw 2 Breadbins for £99.99 on fleabay with PSU and Datasette. 1) Are you able to show or send me pics of the rear of the 1084S again ? 2) Would you be ok with PSU and a Datasette added or would that be too much for £200 all in ? I'd rather deal with one seller in one go rather go through others on fleabay and collect them myself. 3) If I do go ahead with the 1084S, would you throw in the cable from the Breadbin to the 1084s ? I'll try and send you my contact details in the next message and see if that gets through. Thanks Shell

Ok. Am in no rush as I'm trying to balance payments for other stuff, but I'm definitely driving down for the monitor and am happy to wait as when's best for you. Do you know what leads I need to connect to a C64 ? You can reply via the other means if you prefer Thanks Shell
