This item: A PRIME COLLECTABLE. An exceedingly rare, vintage UK pressbook for this excellent early horror movie with Lionel Atwill in the title role. This well regarded early horror movie was directed by Michael Curtiz and is a fine example of a pre-code movie from First National and Warner Brothers, no doubt wanting to cash in on the new horror sucesses of Universal's Dracula and Frankenstein. The pressbook is very large and printed on news paper comprising 4 pages with story, cast listings, many exploitation ideas, articles and photos. Pressbooks of this early 1930s era are absolutely rare. Interestingly, the posters to advertise the movie are not UK Quads but are all large posters from a 6 sheet up to a gigantic 48 sheet used for a wall display for passing traffic / trains.   Very Rare

Size:    11.500 x 17.50 inches approx. (unopened)

(Please see photos for fuller detail; feel free to ask a specific question on condition).
