*Rebuilt* GM OEM Air Compressor for Air Ride Suspension (air shocks)

• Rebuilt - Disassembled, cleaned internally and lubricated, inspected for worn components (20-point inspection) and replaced needed parts. Dryer rebuilt. New o-ring.

  • Inspected filters, isolators, piston, cylinder, valves, seals, and other components.

  • (Most used air compressors do not perform optimally due to leaking seals, often caused by internal debris and worn components. They typically have damaged intake hoses. These factors reduce output, increase how much the part has to run, and shorten life.)

  • Most aftermarket air compressors are of poor quality, based on feedback from customers.

• Tested. Confirmed proper operation.

• The rebuilt dryer (the smaller black cylinder) restores air drying capability to factory performance, which may improve the longevity of the air shocks.

• One year warranty (the same as GM's warranty on new parts). This air compressor should last many years with a properly functioning air suspension system. Make sure your rear shock boots are in good condition and have no leaks in the system so that you don't burn out the air compressor.

Core Required: For this type of air compressor, I require the buyer's old core part. I will include a return shipping label in the box for you to send your old air compressor to me after your installation. There is no additional cost to the buyer.

**NOTE: For the following models, you need to transfer the two metal mounting brackets from your old compressor to this one (it just involves six 8mm bolts): 1985 FWD Cadillac Deville and Fleetwood, 1977-78 Cadillac Eldorado, Buick Riviera, Oldsmobile Toronado, 1977-79 Cadillac Seville.

This compressor is similar or identical to other GM compressors of this era (perhaps Buick Electra / Oldsmobile 98). If you have a vehicle not listed above, you may be able to use this compressor and swap certain parts from yours over to it to make it compatible. See the pictures and compare to yours.

Rebuilt OEM part... These compressors are in very good mechanical and aesthetic condition, being mounted inside the engine compartment. The pictures are from a previously sold unit (I sell many of these). There can be slight variation in surface condition, but all parts sold are similar to the one pictured.
