Seller's Description
To commemorate the introduction of the smaller size 5p coin in 1990 the Mint issued a Silver Piedfort Proof.
"Piedfort" is a double thickness coin.
"Proof" is the highest standard to which a coin can be struck,
with polished, mirror-like surfaces and in this case frosted,
beautifully detailed designs.
Perfect coin, never touched since I received it from the Mint.
Comes with its original case and Royal Mint certificate.
Only 20,000 issued.
