Simplicity 7205 sewing pattern men's shirts, cummerbund and bow-tie. This 1975 vintage pattern can be used to make a men's shirts, cummerbund and bow-tie in a size 405-1/2 inch neck).

The pattern is uncut and factory folded.

Teen-Boys' and Men's Shirts, Cummerbund and Bow-Tie:

The top-stitched shirt with front band button closing has shirt collar and collar-band, forward shoulder seams and long set-in sleeves pleated to buttoned cuffs. V. 1 has purchased ruffle trim. V. 1 & 2 have optional patch pocket. V. 3 features tucked plastron. V. 1,2 or 3 bow-tie has ribbon band slipped under knot and fastened with link hook closure. V. 1 or 3 pleated, lined cummerbund with back elastic is fastened with link hook closure.

Suggested fabrics:
Shirt in lawn, cotton broadcloth, poplin, seersucker, gingham, chambray, cotton jacquard, batiste. V. 1 & 3 cummerbund and bow-tie in satin, shantung, brocade, jacquard, surah, challis, sateen, tie silk. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs. Use nap yardage and nap layouts for satin and one-way design fabrics. Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.

Sewing notions:
Thread, nine 1/2' buttons. Bow-Tie: One link hook closure. Cummerbund V. 1 and 3: One link hook closure.

Please Note that I ship patterns via letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item

Of course, as always, I combine shipping and all stated postage includes free insurance.
