Here is a Sony D-E201 CD Walkman portable CD player, all of the usual and needed features are included in this smart unit. The main and most notable features are "AVLS" (automatic volume limiting system), this when switched to the "on" position will reduce the instances of long term hearing damage due to exposure to excessive sound pressure levels. It can be turned off. "Digital mega bass" is a bass enhancement circuit that can add more low frequencies. "ESP2" (electronic shock prevention 2) will assisit the laser in maintaining its tracking ability when the player is subjected to mild shock or vibration.

The attactively and logical laid out controls are set in order of priority and the main transport controls are set to the front of the main casing, to the right the main controls and to the left are the electronic volume rocker and the menu button. Tracks on a CD Disc can be programmed to replay in any desired order or alternatively they can be replayed randomly.

A clear LCD panel shows current track status and there is a Battery power icon also.

A standard 3.5 mm mini phones jack allows ear/headphones to be connected.

The player is powered by using 2 X AA Batteries (not supplied) or alternatively a 4.5 Volt DC power supply (not supplied) can be connected to the rear mounted DC power input jack.

The player ius excellent barely used condition, the bright and attractive silver finish shows little signs of previous use. All controls and functions operate perfectly and exactly as they are supposed to. The player has been thoroughly tested and has been found to be in perfect condition in all respects.

The player will replay CDR Discs that are of branded good quality and burnt at speeds of 8X and lower on a reliable CD Burner, CDRW discs are NOT recommended for use with this or any other CD player that i have listed. The "ESP2" function is very effective in keeping the laser tracking when the unit is subjected to movement, but "ESP2" was not designed to cope with the extreme g force that jogging or riding a pogo stick may create. Also....in common with all other CD players this one will not reliably replay CD Discs that are dirty or damaged. the player will be retested before being sent to its new owner before being very carefully packaged.
