This is a vintage VHS video tape from 1982. The 14TH photo shows the difference between the RENTAL Version (this tape) on the right and the later SELL THRU,on the left. You are buying ONE tape, the one on the RIGHT OF PICTURE 14

THIS IS THE very rare VERSION WITH THE SPELLING MISTAKES ON THE COVER

THE FIRST EVER VERSION OF STAR WARS ON UK VHS VIDEO!
EX RENTAL VERSION - this is not the sell thru version, which came later, this is the 1st UK issue
of STAR WARS on video in UK.
The original STAR WARS film untouched, no digital changes. As you saw in the cinema!
I WILL ALSO INCLUDE MY UK TV VIDEO TAPE RECORDING OF -RETURN OF THE JEDI-FROM THE TV. From approx Christmas 2004. Most of the adverts have been edited out, but some remain towards the end.
The 1ST VERSION OF THE MOVIE THAT YOU COULD RENT IN U.K- VERY RARE INDEED.
THIS TAPE COMES IN A BLACK EMBOSSED CASE (EMBOSSED ON THE INSIDE WITH THE 20TH CENTURY FOX LOGO).YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE STAR WARS ORIGINAL VHS TAPE
AND
ONE BLANK VHS TAPE (WITH R.O.T.J ON)
-Also, at the beginning of the film a voice over reads :
"20th Century Fox proudly presents" (THIS IS NOT ON ANY OTHER VERSION)
-There is no copyright warning or other trailer at the start. STRAIGHT INTO THE FILM!

This is in EXCELLENT used condition.9/10 very minor wear, Excellent used example.
The tape has been checked / inspected by me TESTED NOV 2020
All appears visually ok & no problem playing on my UK VHS player.
