A genuine full size British War Medal correctly named to S4-218139 A/Cpl R B Lipscomb ASC . Roger Bensted Lipscomb was a clerk in the Army Service Corps and the war medal is his full entitlement. He joined at the Tower of London for duty with the British Military Mission to the United States and served at the British Embassy in Washington. On 27 Mar 1919 Roger was mentioned in the Secretary of State for War's list ' for valuable services rendered in connection with the war'. Comes with some research showing his home address as 60 Hardy Street Maidstone.(REF NM6)
