Vintage Bird & Tree Blossom Repousse Solid Brass Vase 10.5” Inch Tall over 1kg

Repoussed heavy and thick solid brass 10 1/2” inch tall vase.

Repoussed with a very detailed bird, tree branch and blossom decoration.

I don’t know the type of bird but it has long tail feathers.

There is no mention of country of origin, maybe it’s a Japanese themed design? Or British?

Height is 10 1/2” inches, top diameter is approx 2 5/8” inches, base diameter is approx 3 1/4” inches.

Thickness of brass at top rim is approx 4 mm.

It weighs approx 1,104 grams.

I have given it a good polish with brass polish but still a few tarnish spots which further polishing will make good.

Very solid and doesn’t leak.

Slight indent in one side shown in photo otherwise totally excellent condition.
