Seller's Description

Original British 12 inch x 8 3/8 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1922 Marcus Harrison Drama WOMAN WAKE UP!, based on a story by Ben Moore Clay and starring Florence Vidor, Charles Meredith and Louis Calhern.

Vidor plays Ann Clegg, a simple mountain girl who meets city man Monte Collins (Calhern) when an aeroplane accident brings him to her neck of the woods. The two quickly fall in love and marry, but back home in the city Ann's old-fashioned ways pale next to the flash Monte is used to. He grows tired of her, and to spice up the relationship, Anne enlists the help of family friend Henry Mortimer (Meredith). He takes her to cabarets, teaches her how to dress and shows her a few dance steps. Before long, Collins' jealousy explodes, and he finally realizes that he liked his wife's modest country manners a lot better..
