Actively retired, enjoying it, and now have more time to spend pursuing the activities I like i.e., meeting my daughters often for lunch; serving in a soup kitchen, actively learning a second language; kayaking at Lake Jordan, attending to projects I have long wanted to do at Foxglove (home); taking short 1-4 day mini trips to the coast or the mountains (don’t worry, there is always someone here to mail items on a daily basis) and enjoying working in e-commerce on the Internet. Whew! My regular job was interfearing with my free time something awful.
I live in the North Carolina woods (see picture to right) and enjoy watching the deer, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, foxes and other animals on the property. The creek that runs through the property, singing its song as it rolls along, is a welcome addition to this tranquil setting.
