By Bernard DeVoto. 1943 history from Little, Brown. Wide ranging frontier history in diary form from January 5, 1846 into September 14, 1847. A lot was happening with waves of migration, war with Mexico, etc.
Lots of Old West information for very little money. Hardbound, no dustjacket, very good condition, 524 pages, including index. Some fading of the blue cloth cover and fraying on the spine's edges.
