There is very little writing on this pattern, Just pencil marks on the pattern as each row was completed. (see pictures)
This 1960’s Mary Maxim knitting pattern is for a Boys’ and Girls’ Buttoned or Zippered 4-Ply cardigan with raglan sleeves. The pattern is for Child’s Sizes 4 and 6 years. < p>

One pair each Mary Maxim Knitting Needles No. 7 and No. 4 (suggested American gauge No. 6 and No. 9).
One heavyweight open end zipper or 5 buttons.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 4 years Length from back neck 14 ins.
Size 6 years Length from back neck 15 ins.
Size 4 years To fit a chest measurement of 24 ins.
Size 4 years To fit a chest measurement of 26 ins.
Sleeve seam 10 ins.
