Being offered is a rare opportunity to grab up my entire RACING WORLD Video Tape Collection 1989-1995 (in PAL format) - I have ALL 63 volumes (tapes) in this collection which began on a monthly basis starting July 1989. Every month you'd get a tape summarizing all the main flat and jump races throughout Europe (mostly flat racing but also covered the biggest jumping events every year: Cheltenham, Grand National, etc.) in addition to great segments on legendary horses through the years, horses who've just retired or are visited in retirement; filled with priceless stallion commercials of now mostly deceased stallions, news stories of the racing industry and of its most charismatic racing personalities. They also covered the biggest news stories and races in the U.S. and also in Australia and sometimes Japan but the bulk of the coverage was always that of Europe: mostly in the U.K. but also at times in France and Ireland. And to top all this off, December's tape every year was the icing on the cake of an already spectacular racing season: you'd get that season's YEARLY REVIEW tape that touched upon the greatest races of the year in every racing category be it two-year-olds, three-year-olds, stayers, milers, etc. - these in itself were worth the collections weight in gold!

As the years went on, you'd get a tape every two (2) months in lean seasons when racing was at a drizzle during off-season and there wasn't enough to fill a monthly tape but still always a great moment when it arrived in your mailbox - what a great era this was! The last tape in the collection was that of October/November 1995 (tape 63), a sad day to say the least knowing this was to be the last tape of such a wonderful main-stay for so many years...the end of an era - having a tape to watch is so much better than getting your bi-weekly racing magazine...what an ingenious concept for avid race fans.
