Australian Handcrafted Wood Carving
A handmade, folksy, handcrafted souvenir wood bark carving. The sculpture is a playful depiction of some of Australia's most well known animals. The front side of the carving shows a dingo, a kangaroo, and another ungulate animal carved into the tan colored bark. The backside is uncarved bark. I suspect the bark is from an indigenous Australian tree but do not know for sure.
This interesting piece of folk art weighs 2.8 ounces. It is approximately 9.5 inches tall, 2.5 inches in length x 6/8 inches in width.
It has no chips, cracks, dents, or repair. The back of the wood bark carving still has the original 25.00 price tag.
The piece is unsigned.
One interesting note - neither dingos or ungulates (hooved animals) are native to Australia.
It is being sold as used in "AS IS" condition. Please see pictures and ask question before purchasing.
