This beautiful double sided rose rock cluster was found near Noble, Oklahoma. It measures about 4" in length and about 3" in width. Weighs 14.5 ounces. This cluster has a lovely light red color.
This beautiful double sided rose rock cluster was found near Noble, Oklahoma. It measures about 4" in length and about 3" in width. Weighs 14.5 ounces. This cluster has a lovely light red color.
Rose rocks are a form of the mineral barite. They are found in a few places around the world but by far the largest concentration is found in a strip running through central Oklahoma. Not surprisingly, the rose rock became the state rock of Oklahoma in 1968.
