Brunswick 78 #3562 "Sixty Seconds Every Minute" & "Whisper Song" Chester Gaylord

Acquired by Decca Records in 1932, Brunswick was originally thought of as one of the "Big Three" record companies, along with Victor and Columbia. Here are a pair of piano and baritone vocals from a popular artist of the era. Chester Gaylord was among the most active of recording artists in the United States during the late 1920's through the early 1930's. He was known as "The Whispering Serenader" on radio and on his phonograph records. His popularity spread rapidly leading Brunswick (the second largest record company in the United States in the 1920's) to offer him an exclusive contract. He became one of the labels most prolific vocalists during the late 1920's. These recordings are graded at VG+ condition (just short of excellent). Light scuffs and faint scratches present no serious problems. No cracks, chips, or skips.
