Carlton China Crested Miniature Ewer - Belfast

  
Sweet miniature jug decorated with the Belfast crest. Marked on the base with the Wiltshaw & Robinson stamp for c. 1906 onwards, 'Carlton china. Model of Roman Salopian ewer found at Uriconium now in Shrewsbury museum' and has the number '75'. The glit has worn at the rim and there appears to be a very fine hairline or glazing fault that runs through the crest but it doesn't detract from the item. Height at handle 7.5cms, width 2.5cms, width at base 4cms.
