Gaspéite in Sterling Ring: Rare Gemstone; Wonderful Colors, Pattern; Size 6 (L½)

Gaspéite is a very rare nickel carbonate. Because of its rarity, it is a gem-collector's stone, and seldom seen in the marketplace. The pattern on this piece is intricate, and you may have a good time interpreting the shapes. The unusual shades of apple-green come from nickel, while the reddish and yellow veining comes from iron content. A "Statement" size stone that is perfect for wearing with Spring and Summer outfits.

Size 16.5mm diameter = 6 (US/Canada/Mexico); L½ (UK/Ireland/Australia). The photos were taken with the material dry under natural light. Item comes in a padded ring gift box as shown.
