Antique Sloan's Liniment Bottle ca. 1900-1910
This is a clear glass bottle, with "SLOAN'S LINIMENT" embossed on one side
The only other embossing is a diamond on the bottom.
The original cork and wire pull are intact, and the cork fits tightly in the mouth of the bottle.
The cork is dry and the wire is rusty. The bottle is in great condition, no chips, cracks or scratches.
7 inches tall, 2½ inches wide, and 1½ inches deep, held 7 ounces
The seam extends through the top, so this was machine-made. There's some manufacturing roughness on the bottom and quite a few air bubbles, so it probably was made between 1900 and 1910.
I haven't been able to find this listed or described anywhere. It's larger than others sold by this brand, and the only one that had a top made for a cork stopper. I also couldn't find one that had the name "SLOAN'S LINIMENT" embossed on one line; the others I found all had "SLOAN'S LINIMENT" in two lines.
